Colorado Sun: Colorado State Workers to Get Pay Raises Three Years

November 20, 2021

After securing a provisional agreement with the state earlier in the fall, thousands of public service workers across the state voted to ratify the contract, by a near-unanimous vote.

On November 18th, members of the bargaining team for Colorado WINS and other leaders proudly signed the contract with Governor Polis, sharing their thoughts on how this victory sets state employees, their families and communities on a more path to a more equitable and brighter future.

“This partnership shows respect for the talent and expertise we have in jobs that are so essential to our communities,” said Colorado WINS President and state employee Skip Miller. “State employees were on the front lines of this pandemic, and often jeopardized their own health and safety to keep Colorado running. This ratification is an important step forward to ensuring we are properly investing in the state agencies that we all rely on.”
