November 30, 2021

On November 18th Colorado state employees celebrated the momentous raises they won this year for tens of thousands of Colorado’s underpaid essential workers. State employees and Governor Polis signed their ground-breaking first contract today, which state employees voted overwhelmingly to ratify with a 99% vote yes.

Bargaining team members from around the state gathered for the first time in person to add their signatures signaling state employees’ vote to ratify the contract. Then in a ceremonial press event, Gov. Polis added his signature officially moving the contract into effect.
